*Care giving is important to a patient because it somehow helps the patient in its fast recovery. It also helps the patient cope up with the challenges and problems brought about by his/her ailment during and after treatment.
Challenges is part of the health care of the patient. As part of the health care of the patient, it ensures that all the things to be done and medicines to be administered to the patient are in order and done with utmost care and attention.
Since there is close contact between the patient and the caregiver, care giving provides many advantages and some of them are:
1. It helps the patient live a normal life because caregivers help the patient decide on what activities to take.
2. It encourages the patient to share his feelings and support his/her efforts to share. In moments where the patient and caregiver are alone, sometimes the patient opens up and shares his/her feelings to the caregiver. In this instance, the caregiver should listen and also share how she/he feels for the patient and this somehow can help     relief the pain of the patient.
3. It lets him/her decide what to do. Once bond is established, it's how easy for the patient to decide what to to for himself/herself.
4.It helps the patient to communicate with others. The closeness between the patient and the caregiver is a step where the patient can communicate with other people.

Home Nursing Techniques; Signs & Symptoms of Illnesses & Diseases ;))

1.  If you are a good home nurse, what are the various home nursing techniques that you need to apply that will make the patient feel comfortable and speed up the recovery?
a. Regular Monitoring of the vital signs of patient
b. Monitoring medicine intake
c. regular changing of bed linens
d. Constant follow up on the patient's feeling by talking or asking him/her

2.  Why should the home nurse monitor the vital signs of the patient?
- Measuring and recording a patient's vital signs accurately is important as this gives an indication of the patient's physiological state. It also enables the assessment of the level at which an individual is functioning.

3.How do you take the body temperature, pulse rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure of the patient?
- The body temperature of the patient can be taken through mouth, armpit or rectum. Pulse rate can be determined by placing two fingers on the pulse of the patient. A rapid pulse, a high temperature, a low blood pressure, an open wound, bruising , etc. are all signs. Signs give more definite indication of the presence of a particular disease to the physician. Signs may be described as the current 'showcase' that the doctor observes in the patient and in the diagnostic testing and measurements.

- If I were a doctor, I will be based my diagnosis to the information that the patient tells me and the rest will come from various medical examinations and test. It's important that the patient tells his medical history to determine the real illness or disease.

Home Nursing or home care is important to an individual, family and the community. To an individual, home care prevents the onset of any disease, because steps to prevent such disease are under taken. Some of these steps include eating the right foods, excising and taking food supplements it also allows the individual to know how to take care properly his/her body and mind. It also makes interaction with others members of the family fun and interesting.

The community benefits from home care because it the families living in that community are aware of the benefits of home care then that community is health. it is also a productive community because the people know how to take care of themselves. and this makes them to actively participate in the activities of the community makes a productive nation.

Medicines make patients recover form their illness. they also prevent the occurrence of another illness. Medicines should be given properly to the patient for him/her to recover fast and easily . they should be also be given in proper dosage because dosage determines the amount of medicine feeded to comfort any disease.

" Importance of Health Care" :)

Health care is important to the individual because it ensures that an individual stays healthy. Staying healthy means an individual is able to do what he/she wants to do. It also helps the individual to save money because he/she doesn't have to buy medicines for his/her maintenance.

Health care is also important to the family because a "healthy family" is a "happy family" right? :3 A healthy family contributes much to the growth of it's members.

Health care is, likewise, important to the community because when it' members are healthy that community becomes dynamic& progressive. it's members can do its share to implement important programs. :))
