MY EXPERIENCES IN FOLDING, CUTTING AND EXPANDING SHAPES AND FORMS

I was so nervous and at the same excited when I was covering my drawing book using recycled materials and plastic cover. I wanted my output to be simple yet attractive. I was imagining it to be a stand-out among the rest that’s why I really brought out the artist in me.

The more that I became nervous when I started designing the first page of my drawing book. I wanted it to be really captivating because it is the first page. It tells about my whole drawing and if it is not what I imagined it to be then the rest of the pages would be a disaster.

When I started folding and cutting basic shapes and forms, I was worried because I wanted the shapes to be perfect and I was not sure if I could do it because I had no practice. What I did was remember the steps and really followed them. I used our sala to do my project. There were clutter all over the place but my family did not bother because it was a project. I practically occupied the whole place. I also ate late just to finish my project.

It was a very thrilling, exhausting and challenging experience for me. I thought the activity was very difficult but it was not. I just played with the materials that I have and followed the instructions on the how’s to. I really enjoyed doing my project. It brings out the best and worst in me. There were times that I almost cried but I was thinking that I should finish it because no one would do it for me.
